My research background gives me the skills to understand the science behind new drug discoveries. While developing content for a clinical decision support tool for clinicians, I gained experience providing clinicians with relevant information at the point of care. I have written successful grant proposals and developed educational activities. My clients include medical education companies, medical societies, and professional associations. My areas of expertise include hematology/oncology, pulmonology, and sleep medicine. |
| Brief biography: |
After completing my PhD, I continued working in academic research as a postdoctoral fellow. After a few years, I decided to transition out of academic research to use my scientific background to make a difference for patients by becoming a medical writer. After several years developing content for a clinical decision support for clinicians, I decided to launch my own medical writing business with a focus on continuing medical education. I am also serving as President of the AMWA New England Chapter. |
